Beyond R0: COVID-19 Transmission through Temporal Network Analysis

In 2019, in the middle of an Israel Science Foundation–funded effort to quantify the effects of external events on interaction networks, the COVID-19 pandemic arrived. We adapted our temporal interaction-driven contagion model to assess individual transmission risk, evaluate social-distancing policies, and analyze competition among viral strains.
